About me
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved animals and lived with them by my side.
As a young child, I was teaching the family dog to jump through hoops. I had read all the dog's books at the library before I reached my teens. This passion is in my genes. Dog's versatily impresses me : no other animal species serves human beings as much as dogs do.
In 1996, my family bought their first German Shepherd and in 1997, I handled this dog in my first obedience competition ever. Since then, driven by passion, my knowledge has grown tremendously.

Summer 2024
Curse vom Hexenrudel earned his DM title (Dock Diving Master) at his very first NADD trial and in 5 straight splashes. His longest distance jump so far : 23.3 feet. This dog represents the athleticism that I strive to maintain in my bloodlines.
Effie vom Hexenrudel earned the SDN title (Scent Detection Novice - Level 1). She passed the 3 components (containers, interior, exterior) on her first try and on the same day. Took her less than a minute to find and indicate on all 3 hides. Her commitment to the odor in a new venue was flawless.
Boost vom Hexenrudel earned the French Ring CSAU title (Certificat de Sociabilité et d'Aptitude à l'Utilisation) with a rating of "Excellent". She was also awarded judge's choice, best CSAU, under Ari Fleishman.
Breaker vom Hexenrudel earned the SDE title (Scent Detection Excellent - Level 3).
October 2023
Axel vom Hexenrudel earned the SDN title (Scent Detection Novice - Level 1). He passed the 3 components (containers, interior, exterior) on his first try and on the same day. He was awarded fastest combined time in all 3 novice components. Took him less than a minute (48 seconds) to find and indicate on all 3 hides.
July 2023
Effie vom Hexenrudel's hips and elbows have been evaluated by the OFA at 12 months old. There is no sign of dysplasia! She got a rating of 'Good' hips and 'Normal' elbows.
June 2023
Breaker vom Hexenrudel earns his PDC with a score of 150.5/155 (62/65 obedience - 88.5/90 protection). He was also awarded first place over the week-end (total of 9 dogs in the suit division).
Axel vom Hexenrudel also earns his PDC with a score of 150/155 (64/65 obedience -86/90 protection). He was awarded second place.

April 2023

Holistic Approch
As much as possible, I avoid over-vaccination and unnecessary medications.
If a problem arise, I will try to find an alternate solution. Since 1999, all of my dogs are fed with a variety of raw, fresh whole foods. No kibble is being fed here, ever.
